Summary:
The Marketing Communications Specialist - Content is responsible for performing specific technical duties that support the larger corporate Marketing Services goals.
A Marcom Specialist - Content may perform a small set of specific roles, a large group of wide-ranging general duties, or a combination of both, depending on business needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
Edit technical papers, presentations, corporate communications, press releases, web copy, reports, product data sheets, social media posts, blogs, and so on Create content that supports our pipeline creation efforts, educates, and drives our prospects to our website.
Content may include blog posts, social media posts, copy for landing pages, email campaigns, newsletters, and more Manage content distribution through engaging newsletters, social media channels, partner websites, etc.
Manage content calendar Identify the goal of the customer (often an internal customer, such as a Product Line Manager) with regard to outcome and timing, and work to meet or exceed that goal Identify deadlines and manage workload, accordingly, including prioritizing tasks, and coordinating and communicating activities with the Marcom team Produce effective communications that achieve each project's goal and are timely, well- considered, well-informed, and well-delivered Stay abreast of evolving media technologies and practices, and identify and acquire new skills required to leverage developments in technology Demonstrate team player attitude and approach with internal and external customers, across cultures, regions, and countries Attend training as needed or assigned Perform other duties or special projects as assigned REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, media or related filed preferred 1-2 years of marketing communications or related marketing experience required; 3-4 years preferred (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered) Working knowledge of social media platforms is required.
Experience with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or other reporting platform is a plus Excellent command of the English language is required Excellent oral and written communication skills Attention to details and able to follow instructions well Enjoy and can thrive in fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and make basic decisions regarding routine tasks Basic problem-solving skills Good personal computer skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook Adobe suite of skills preferred Shift:
Monday-Friday:
8am-5pm.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
