Experience:Experienced PAR Technology is seeking qualified Human Resources Business Partner to support our Restaurant / Retail business unit in our New Hartford, NY and Toronto, ON, CA geographies.  As a strategic partner, the HR Business Partner will align business objectives with employees and management in designated locations. The incumbent will also serve as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues and will act as employee champion and change agent. The HR Business Partner will assess and anticipate HR-related needs. He or she will communicate needs proactively with the HR department and business management, and seek to develop integrated solutions. The HR Business Partner will formulate partnerships with the HR team and vendors to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The position may include international Human Resource responsibilities. The successful incumbent will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture and its competition. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Implement customary HR programs to help the business attract, retain and motivate talent.  This includes: performance management, talent management, awards and staffing/recruiting initiatives and culture assessments, strategies and plans to deliver an outstand employee value proposition. Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations Maintain knowledge of ethics, code of conduct and legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required Provide day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, transfers May assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Minimum of 5 years of experience of various HR BP elements or 3 years of HRPB experience Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws Relevant industry experience a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong conflict management skills Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues Manage multiple human resources disciplines in multiple locations Manage multiple conflicting priorities Work in environment with international objectives Be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels Be self directed and motivated Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
