  • Negotiate and facilitate key purchase agreements for direct material requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies to assure on time fulfilment performance.
  • Develop and implement strategic roadmap to provide YOY cost out/ price deflation of assigned commodities
  • Interface with Quality and Engineering departments on supplier related issues to improve quality performance of suppliers.
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to facilitate efficient communication and work flow to meet customers expectations
  • Maintain supplier scorecard program and monthly performance metrics
  • Employees involved in the purchasing of equipment will receive safety and health awareness level training. This training will assist them in an initial effort to identify potential hazards in the design phase


  • Bachelor s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years supply chain/ procurement experience required
  • Some supervisory experience desirable
  • Experience with contract negotiations, long-term vendor partnerships, and working cross functionally in an dynamic environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
