POSITION DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Quality Engineer that will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all aspects of our hardware manufacturing quality system. The primary focus of this position is to ensure process designs and capability studies are performed correctly with proper emphasis on prevention of nonconformities. Duties may include assisting with the implementation and monitoring of test procedures, preparing documentation on test and inspection procedures, First article Inspection, Internal Audit, Stop/Ship of suspected non-conforming product, developing, communicating, and maintaining product performance reporting, analyzing test results to ascertain failure rate causes, and developing and implementing corrective actions. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field and at least 5 years hand's-on experience in the field of Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Should understand the body of knowledge as required for certification as a Quality Engineer by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Shall be knowledgeable about Cost of Quality, TQM, Process Management Methodology, SPC, ISO 9001, and other Quality Engineering Principles. Must be able to analyze processes developed by others in a manner that will reveal opportunities for performance improvement of those processes. Be able to understand PAR's growth path and transformational strategy and lead the effort to transition our Quality System to align and deliver. Possess the desire and willingness to pursue continuing education in the form of formal courses along with seminars and in-house training in support of staying current with changing internal and external requirements.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Quality AssuranceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
